SUBJECT: Nominations for Outstanding Adviser Award
The "Outstanding Adviser Award" is designed to
recognize an adviser's contribution to the success of a chapter (local and
state). Both local and state advisers may be nominated for this award.
Your local chapter may nominate one of your local advisers or an adviser
from another chapter who has helped contribute to the local or state
chapter's success. This is a very important decision for your chapter to
make and it will honor some very important individuals.
Attached is the nomination form. It is up to your
local chapter to determine who will be nominated and how the nominee will be
selected. Only one adviser should be nominated from each local chapter.
Once an adviser has been selected, please have them complete the nomination
form. The nomination deadline is February 18. Do not put off
submitting your chapter’s nomination for this award.
The state officer team will select by secret
ballot the five finalists for this award. These finalists will be notified
and asked to submit a detailed application for this award. The five
finalists will be recognized at Spring Leadership Conference. The winner of
this award will be announced at the SLC Awards Program and will represent
Kentucky at NLC. The winner of this award will receive the same funding for
NLC as do other state winners representing Kentucky at NLC.
